This painting is an example of my improvised Art Style. I call it JENGA because it is built almost like the JENGA game with blocks of individual colour being applied one on top of the other. I came to this solution to create my own type of IMPRESSIONISM; that is reducing realism to flat strokes of vivd colour almost resembling pixels on a photoshop image. This style works very well with busy, urban street scenes and was a solution to wanting to convey the dramatic , neon lighting that evening street scenes
